  • Roof matching domes means ventilation is less noticeable.

Too often, attic ventilation is overlooked, not to mention ignored as a place for energy savings. That's where BROAN solutions make sense. Consider this: air trapped in your attic can easily reach 150 degrees or more. With BROAN ventilation solutions, it's still a full 60 degrees cooler in the attic on a 90 degree day. That's why attic ventilation is critical to making any home more comfortable while lowering energy costs. Air conditioners can run less and won't have to work as hard. Humid, stagnant air can be removed, drawing fresh dry air across the surfaces. Your attic can be drier and cooler - the perfect tools to help fight potential moisture damage.

Each PVC dome is available in three popular performance ratings along with two metal dome models. Select one that best suits the attic size and shingle color.

I see from the specs that there are very small differences between the two models, such as 1000 versus 1050 CFM, roof cut-out diameters, housing and dome dimensions, metal versus PVC dome material, and max amps and volts. Can you help me figure out the most important differences so that I can select the right model for my application?

    Answer:
    Hello Ben –
You have hit on all the important points. The attic size would be the other difference between these two models. The 349BR is for attics up to 1400 square feet. The 350BR/350BK would be for attics up to 1500 square feet. If you are still unsure what is best for your application, please contact our technical support department directly at 1-800-637-1453. Technical is available Monday through Friday, 7:30 am until 6:00 pm CST. They would be happy to get into further details with you to help assist you more.
